What we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we hold your address and the contents of the message so we can reply and keep a record of corrections.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers record your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view. We use this in aggregate to understand which articles are useful.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of first-party cookies for site preferences such as your light or dark theme choice. Our analytics and advertising partners set their own cookies, described below.
Advertising
This site is supported by display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Third-party vendors and ad networks that we do not control may also serve ads on this site. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which articles are read, and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load for real visitors. Both are cookieless: they set nothing on your device and do not follow you across other websites.
We do not attempt to identify individual readers, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell analytics data. If we later add a different analytics provider we will name it here.

Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf: Vercel, which hosts the site and provides its analytics, and our advertising partners. Each is bound by its own agreement and privacy policy.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. To exercise any of them, email hello@testedai.com and we will respond within the period required by law.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies will not remove ads, but it will make them less relevant.
Children
This site is written for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and security
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter and to maintain a record of corrections. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. We use industry standard measures to protect information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least thirty days.
