What a normal CapCut export gives you
Almost no other free editor does this. Most watermark everything.
This is genuinely unusual. Most free video editors brand every export regardless of what you used. CapCut only brands the parts it charges for.
Why yours got one anyway#
Because the Pro tag is small and you were concentrating on the edit.
It is easy to scroll a template gallery, pick the one that looks right, build the whole video around it, and only discover at export that it was Pro. The tag was there the entire time in the corner of a thumbnail.
Removing it without paying#
Swap the element. This is the real fix. Find the Pro-tagged item, replace it with a free equivalent, export again. Clean, permanent, costs nothing.
Watch an ad. On some templates CapCut offers an export option that plays an advert and then gives you the clean file. It is not available everywhere but it costs nothing when it is.
Do not use third-party watermark removers. They work by cropping or blurring, which visibly degrades the video, and they are pointless when the cause is one element you can simply swap out.
When paying is actually the answer#
